Understanding Search Engine Optimization

You have got to use SEO if you are looking to attract targeted people to your website, you have to create a website that caters to search engine optimization rules. This means using specific keywords that match your niche.

The problem can occur if you do not know anything about SEO or search engine optimization.

You have to remember that with on page search engine optimization, everything centers on keywords, themed content and keyword anchor links.

Therefore, if you want your site optimized and ranked high in the search engines, you will need to create a website that features those popular keywords and themes.

When search engines send out robots to index your site, they look at key areas to determine if your site meets the mark for high positioning. If these areas are met, your site is listed at or near the top of the search page.

If it is not,

You may not get listed at all, or may end up on page two, three, or further down from there and then your basiclly invisable.

The areas you should pay attention to that will help you rank higher in search engine results is by looking at the way your web pages are designed, the keywords you use, your title tag, the actual content on the page, Meta tags, images “alt” attribute, and URL links. Part 2 coming soon…
