In An Article Title Matters True or False?

30 October 2008 No Comment

You may not think or realize this, but the title of an article really does matter what it comes to publishing articles in article directories. Not only is it important for publishing sake, it also helps to boost your ranking, because when Google shows it in a search result, people will see the title. If the title is well written and catchy, people will click on the title. And when that happens, people will see the article and read it. At the end of the article will be your byline. Nine times out of ten, people will see this and click on it to learn more about your topic. This means instant traffic for you. Not only does it mean instant traffic, it also means more inbound links.

The only problem with titles, they are hard to create. It takes a lot of thought into how a title should be written. You don’t want to just through a title out there, and hope people like it. You must write one that will catch the eyeballs and force people to read it. Once they read your title, they will be forced to read your article. If you are unsure as to how to write a title, why not go to article directories and look around at those articles within the category where you will place your article. Notice the titles provided. Learn from them.

When writing an effective title, it must engage the reader. It must attract, intrigue, and pull the visitor so your article will get read. Your title must also be keyword rich so when someone searches for articles by using the particular keyword, your article title will show up. Not only this, but your article will rank high in the search engines.

You can use clever titles or those that are cute. Whatever title you create must be understandable enough that the reader will respond by clicking it. This means the title must also be descriptive. Remember, you only have 50 to 60 characters to work with including spaces, so use your imagination, and be descriptive but frugal also.
