Login to Flickr add a comment which will automatically nofollow : then click html and pull out the nofollow to get clean links ! And with a single stroke Flickr comments go through the roof.
Dave said there were no other Yahoo features that were worth mentioning.

Wow, Its slightly “sneaky” strategy but I like it! As long as you do provide something of value to the community I don’t see how it could be considered unethical either.

I bet there are quite many sites with high authority out there where you could drop a link in a similar fashion.

I agree with You that a good site needs a good SEO Expert. But there is one big BUT. A lot of people have learned a little or nothing about SEO and they become SEO specialists. They know the basic steps to make some site profitable and famous but it is not enough. I have paid to such specialist to bring visitors to my site and the result was awful. In the beginning everything was excellent. People come exponentially. And when I paid him, it stopped. He generated false traffic to cheat me and take my money. So be careful people!!!

Interesting article, had me glued until i clicked on the two links.

I think the difference is due to one search being “web” and one being “uk only”. Looking at the results in the first 5 positions on the two options you can see it is much heavier in .co.uk for the uk only search.

At least you have highlighted a very important issue in the difference between the two options. I have a .com and will often get penalised in the uk only search for this reason. Time for a 301 redirect!
